Reading the Easy Way

I am so excited to share my  Reading the Easy Way program – my first curriculum! I have been working for a while now on this reading program for my Preschooler. The program has worked so incredibly well I decided to package it and offer it to you!

Oct. 2012 UPDATE: Since this incredibly popular program launched in September 2012 it has sold over 100 copies!  I have had so many requests for a sequel that I launched Reading the Easy Way 2 on Nov 5, 2012. The next step in the program will include over 120 pages, all new images, 10 beginner readers, 6 brand new games, progress charts, a certificate of completion, and so much more! For those that are just finding Reading the Easy Way I wanted to share some of my readers opinions after using the Reading the Easy Way!

Sarah from Illinois says:

I've been doing your reading program with the kids and we love it! We are on week 5 and my 2 year old is reading too! Last year, I started the "Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons." It started off going great but half way through by 4 year old was getting so frustrated and was dreading the lessons. I had to stop because she was developing such a negative attitude of reading. When I started "Reading the Easy Way" it was just what we needed to boost her confidence and make reading fun for her. Thank you for taking the time to create that. I know it has really made a big difference for my 4 year old!

Eddie says:

We're almost halfway through Reading the Easy Way and my sidekick is BEGGING to do this every day! I see that you've got another reading program in the works - any idea when it might be ready? I'll happily be your first customer! Seriously, thanks so much - he's such an enthusiastic participant and we can play the games over and over again.

Shonda says:

The format was engaging and super easy to use! I like when everything is all planned out for me!

See Reading the Easy Way Reviewed here:

  • The Usual Mayhem - “This program has taken his reading to a whole new level, quickly and in a way that was effortless”
  • 3 Dinosaurs – “Coloring by sight word is something really easy to do and nice review for everything.”
  • This Reading Mama – “Beth has organized the activities in a fun and playful way, which is very important to preschoolers (and moms, too)”

In just 15 minutes a day / 5 days a week, this program will have your child doing fun activities, playing games, and reading.  The program adds 4 new words every week and has 9 reinforcement activities to combine fun and repetition to have your child enjoying reading in no time! Here is a sample of what you will get:

Ages: 3-6 image

This program is based on the Preschool Dolch Word list and I used it successfully with my 4 year old. But you know your child best – if they are showing an interest in reading and know their alphabet it’s the perfect time to introduce! It was also incredibly helpful to cement these words with my 1st grader who did not have the repetition of doing this program earlier!

What’s Included:

  • 12 Week Lesson Plan (little prep with clearly labeled sheets!)
  • Roll & Read Game / Flashcards
  • Trace! Read! Stamp!
  • Sight Word Coloring
  • Word Search
  • Peanuts to Elephant Game
  • Matching Word Round-Up Game
  • Sight Word Bingo (2 versions)
  • Swat the Fly Game
  • 8 Preschool Readers

Weekly Activities At-A-Glance – For those of you who are more visual (like I am). Here is a sample of what you would do on a weekly basis. The included lesson plans go into more details. image

Thanks to all of you who support our family and the work I do online through your purchases of this program!

Some of you may be wondering – don’t you just offer free stuff? The majority of the things on my blog are free – all my Preschool packs, Flashcards, History Units, Science Notebooks, and School Memories Pack, and more are FREE! AND will remain free! This is actually the first thing I’ve decided to charge for. There are several reasons I decided to charge for this – #1 it took a LOT of time (just look at all that is included above!), #2 Clipart Costs $ (hopefully this will help pay for the cost of the clipart I use not only here, but in all my preschool packs!), #3 We are a homeschooling family and it would be a HUGE blessing to be able to cover some of our materials through all the work that I put into the blog.

Tangled Bonus Readers Thumbnail_thumb[9]UPDATE:  Click on image above to get a {free} Brave and a {free] Tangled  Pre-Primer Reader. These readers incorporate all the words used in Reading the Easy Way Weeks # 1-5 and are perfect for incorporating into the first Review week. Enjoy!
