I recently had the opportunity to review Scripture Stickies. I love this simple, inexpensive, and effective way of helping me and my family hide God’s word in our heart!
So what is a Scripture Sticky?
- 2” x 6” Post it-type sheet with a Bible Verse on it

Here are some ideas for using Scripture Stickies:
- Have your entire family memorize scripture together – This is a great tool in discipling your children! And by doing it together you are setting an example for them to follow.
I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. Psalm 119:11
- Use it as a bookmark in your Bible to remember to review the verse
- Put it around your home as a reminder to practice, to encourage throughout the day, and to prompt meditation on God’s word!
Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates. Deuteronomy 6:9
- Spare Time – Life is busy and sometimes we forget to make time for what really matters. Why not stick the verse in your car and review it every time you get in or out? Note: I do not suggest reading while driving your car!
- Lunch Notes – Give your kids some real encouragement at lunch time by sticking a Scripture Sticky in their lunch box.
- Prizes – Give individual prizes for memorizing scripture (stickers, stay up late, etc.) or work towards a family prize (family bowling, family game night, family picnic, etc.)

Bottom line – These are a great tool to help individuals and families memorize scripture! On a side note, I am hope they will come out with a kids option that adds clipart to the kids packs to give kids some visual clues and make it more visually appealing to them.
