Does this ever happen at your house?

We were having a nice leisurely morning. I got up early to make everyone a nice breakfast of bacon & eggs and now everyone {still in their jammies} was playing nicely in the family room. I had just sat down on the couch with my coffee in hand to join in on the fun when all of a sudden I realized Minnie had ballet class in 15 minutes! YIKES!

Suddenly our house became a frenzy of activity as I tried to hurry all 3 kiddos to get dressed, shoes & coats on, and out the door in 5 minutes! Let me tell you, it wasn’t pretty. But, we were out the door in 5 minutes flat. But as soon as Minnie slipped her ballet shoes on and went into her class I realized that in all the chaos of getting out the door, I forgot to grab toys, coloring books, or anything for Tinker bell (2) and Goofy (7) to do while they waited for Minnie’s 45 minutes class! And as luck would have it, it was COLD outside – no walk for us today!

Lucky for me, our community center has Wi-Fi and Goofy was super excited to watch videos from our LEGO® Playlist we had just made a couple nights before.

Here is Goofy's LEGO Playlist {7 year old boy} – just to give you an idea of what you’ll find!

Our family really enjoys playing LEGO® Wii games. One of our favorite parts about the Wii games are the LEGO® short videos throughout the game – they are always so funny and clever!  I am always amazed at how they can take things like Star Wars and made it family friendly – even our two year old can wander in the room and it is age appropriate! The #LEGO #YouTube #videos for kids are shorts just like those in the Wii games. The videos are FREE and conveniently grouped by type: Star Wars, City, Super Heroes, The Hobbit, and more.

There are over 500 videos to choose from with more added every day!
